Welcoming Mr. Weimer
August 14, 2019
With a new school year starting, we can expect new faces as well. One of those new faces is Mr. Weimer, our schools newest student counselor and a delightful addition to the Bronco Team. Mr. Weimer decided to pursue education at Hanover College, a private, co-ed, liberal arts college, for four years. He would then go on to work with multiple schools, those including New Palestine High School and Elementary, Prosser Career Education Center, and Break O’Day Elementary, before landing at Daleville Junior/Senior High School.
“I’m here to help and service students.”
DHS students can rely on Mr. Weimer to help them plan career paths, choose courses, make schedules, and assist with day-to-day life as a high school student. When asked why he chose to come to Daleville, he responded, “I thought it would be a great opportunity to help students and be apart of a great team.”
While a member of staff at Daleville, Mr. Weimer can relate to students when it comes to his hobbies. Like many students, Mr. Weimer likes to watch/play all sports, spend time with his family, listen to all sorts of music, dance, and watch movies. Going into a new school year can be considered a new beginning for some, or an ending for others; however, with Mr. Weimer on our team, this year could be one of our best years yet. Let’s all give a warm welcome to Mr. Weimer!
